Step 1: LCD’s Size
In general ,there are some several standard sizes for the industrial lcd display modules. For example,3.5”, 3.8”, 4.7”, 5.7”, 6.5”, 7.4”, 8.4”, 9.4”, 10.4”, 12.1”,15”...etc. As far as possible to choose the standard size,It will be save costs and timely delivery time.Because if the size is not standard,need to open the glass mould for the lcd modules,it will be increase the cost.
Step 2: LCD’s Resolution
Industrial lcd display common resolutions are 240x320, 320x240, 480x272, 640x480, 800x480, 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024.
We know that the higher the resolution, the higher the pixel, the clearer the display.
Step 3: LCD’s Interface type
Need to confirm the connection mode between the LCD screen and the main board. There are some the interfaces :Serial port, Parallel port , RGB interface, MIPI interface, LVDS interface,etc.
Step 4: Order of LCD’s interface definitions
Need to confirm the order of interface definitions connecting to the LCD Module, PIN sequence and motherboard must be connected one by one.
Step 5: LCD’s Brightness
The equipments is used outdoors/indoors, the brightness requirement higher in outdoors is than that in indoors.
Step 6: LCD’s Temperature
Some equipments work at high temperature,We need to consider the LCD’s Storage Temp and Operating Temp.
