Many of our friends and custumers always do not know what is the differences of the normal speed fan motor and the high speed fan motor.
They all seems very similar and even can be the same from the outside of the fan motor cover.
Today, we will show you how and why the fan motor speed is different:
You can see following pictures for the normal speed stator and the high speed motor stator together:
Left stator with red power cord is normal speed fan motor, size: 7116mm, 220V/50HZ, RPM:1350 (Maximum RPM is 1400RMP)
Right stator with green cord is high speed fan motor, size:7120mm, 220V/50HZ, RPM:2680 (Maximum RPM is 2800RMP)
Why the high speed motor has the double RPM than the normal speed motor?
We can find that the wire windings difference:
Normal speed motor has two poles (two packs of the wire winding together), while the high speed motor stator has four poles (four packs of the wire winding together.)
Let us to see the outlook of the wirewinding from the upside:
Left is high speed motor stator, and right is the normal speed motor stator:
Hope the above information is helpful to you.
